General terms of sale

Thank you for your trust.

Confirmation of your booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

1. Booking & payment terms

Any booking becomes effective upon receipt of:

  • a deposit corresponding to 25% of the total amount of the stay,
  • booking fees (€15, non-refundable),
  • cancellation insurance (if taken out),
  • as well as a €3 contribution for waste management.

The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival.

2. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, the deposit paid, including booking fees, remains non-refundable.

  • less than 30 days before arrival: 50% of the stay is due;
  • less than 7 days before arrival: 100% of the stay is due.

No refund will be granted for a stay that has started, has been shortened, or for a delayed arrival.

3. Condition of the accommodation

We pay particular attention to the quality and cleanliness of our accommodation. The accommodation must be returned in a satisfactory state of cleanliness, in keeping with the condition in which it was provided to you, including washed dishes and emptied bins.

Failing this, a cleaning fee of €100 may be charged.

If any damage is noted to the accommodation, its equipment or fittings, additional charges may also be invoiced.

Charges may also apply in the event of non-compliance with the house rules, particularly in the case of repeated and proven noise disturbance observed by our team or reported by several guests.

The guest will be informed of any amount charged, as well as of the reasons for this charge, by any appropriate means (telephone, e-mail or discussion on site).

4. Organisation of your stay

Apartment rental:

  • Arrival: between 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.
  • Departure: between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Keys are made available for self-access in order to allow an independent arrival thanks to a key box dedicated to each accommodation. The access code to this box will be sent to you once the stay has been confirmed.

5. Rental conditions

Our smaller accommodations are available for a minimum stay of 2 nights, while larger accommodations are rented for a minimum stay of 3 nights.

  • The accommodations are equipped with pillows and blankets. We also provide a welcome kit (sponge – toilet paper – bin bag) upon arrival in your accommodation.
  • Water and electricity consumption are included in the rental price.

6. Capacity & occupancy

Every booking is made for a specific number of persons. Any false declaration (identity, number of occupants, etc.) will result in cancellation of the booking.

  • For rentals: no additional person may be accepted if the maximum capacity of the accommodation has already been reached.
  • Pet: Pets are only allowed with the prior agreement of the establishment and subject to compliance with the house rules. They are charged at €40 per pet for the entire stay. The guest undertakes to ensure that the animal causes no nuisance, damage, neighbourhood disturbance or safety issue. In the event of non-compliance with these rules, the establishment reserves the right to require the immediate removal of the animal, or even to exclude the guest, without refund.

7. Access & parking

  • Parking for one vehicle only is included in your stay.
  • Additional vehicles and visitors must park outside the property (along the road leading to the village of Giens or in the village centre).

8. House rules & way of life

To ensure a calm and pleasant atmosphere for everyone, we thank you for respecting our house rules.

  • We reserve the right to exclude, without notice, any guest party in the event of inappropriate behaviour, failure to comply with the house rules or noise disturbance.

9. Safety & equipment

  • Only electric planchas are permitted. Charcoal, gas or other barbecues are prohibited (prefectural regulations). It is strictly forbidden to charge electric vehicles from the accommodation units. A paid charging station is available in the village of Giens (400 m).
  • Tilou Locations declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings. Each guest remains responsible for their belongings during the stay.
  • Tilou Locations décline toute responsabilité en cas de perte, vol ou détérioration des effets personnels. Chaque client demeure responsable de ses biens durant son séjour.

10. Guest commitment

By confirming the booking, the guest acknowledges:

  • having read these terms and conditions,
  • and undertakes to comply with them during the stay
